SageTV puts you in control of the first networked media center experience for your PC. With SageTV you get complete PVR functionality to pause live TV, rewind, fast-forward, and conveniently record your shows for playback on your monitor or TV. SageTV includes an integrated programming guide that provides a favorites manager, one-touch recording, search functionality and intelligent recording and scheduling (a SageTV exclusive), which records programs based on your prior viewing habits. SageTV also provides complete Media Center functionality to access your Music, Video and Photo collections and playback DVDs.

SageTV also allows streaming of live or recorded video and music to any PC on your network with our SageTV Client application. SageTV supports most real-time MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and DivX encoding TV tuner/capture cards . SageTV does not currently support Software Encoding cards like the ATI All-In-Wonder or WinTV-Go. Version 2.2 adds an integrated MPEG decoder along with bug fixes from previous version.

Version: SageTV 2.2

"Picture Problems Galore"

Pros: Stylish interface when it works

Cons: The Java interface gave me nothing but problems from the get-go. I am using Windows 2000 Pro with a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 card. Works fine in WINTV2000. Wouldn't recommend.
