"Outstanding Performance."
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
I been using SRS technologies, along with many other "audio enhancement" programs for years. I can honesty say I've never been more impressed in my life. The predecesors were choppy, watery, and overwhelming. Over the generations, SRS Labs have cleaned up their enhancements. It makes the program exciting to use! Your ears will definely thank you.
Cons
Especially in Circle Surround mode, it eats up more processor time then I would like. It may or may not be possible to achieve more efficient processor use, but for the moment slow computers will surely feel its affects. Also when I'm in 5.1 speaker configuration, and I have a 5.1 source, the program uses TruSurround and downmixes to stereo. What's up with that? For 5.1 sources, I either have to manually switch to Circle Surround or turn it off all together.

"A great acoustic experience...!"
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
Something that is very essential for each and every software is the functionality that it adds to the system. This software scores high on all the counts and believe me or not my 2.1 speaker system felt 2-3 times better. I am not a great audiophile but i could clearly make out the different beats of a song after i installed this application. I am full of praise for this application because it is the best plugin i have found till now.
Cons
Trial period could be extended for a few more days....!

"Pretty Impressive"
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
I had been using a Creative Labs 4 speaker system with a subwoofer to play movies on my laptop with a projection system. I thought the sound was pretty good until I installed the SRS Audio Sandbox. On first run, I thought the movie soundtrack would literally jump out of my speakers. Whereas before, the sound was pretty good, but somewhat flat. With the Audio Sandbox, there was a richness and fullness to the sound that I had never heard before.
Cons
Not sure yet what I don't like, although when I try to configure the sound when I have my multimedia system connected, it still tells me I only have a 2 speaker system.

The Surround sound mode is amazing.
Big difference you can hear.
Cons
None.

"Amazing Software!"
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
I had no idea that a software product could turn my stereo mp3's into amazing 5.1 sound...the coolest thing is how the program sends vocals to the center and instrumentals to surround. It's like the song is encoded in surround to begin with! I also watch tv on the computer with beyond tv, now my tv experience has taken a whole new level.
Cons
The interface is a little bulky, some skins would be nice. perhaps more technical control would be nice too.

"Amazing"
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
I have used others, DFX, Volume Logic etc but this is the one to buy! Pure joy to listen to music etc. I have a 5.1 Klipsch speaker system that needed a makeover, this was it!
Cons
Not too excited about the interface. And some skins would be nice.

"Outstanding! The improved sound quality is amazing."
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
Willie (Stardust) never sounded so good. I feel like I'm at a concert. I need this on my plasma flat screen TV, now!

"Once you've tried it, you'll never want to be without it."
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
It's a no brainer. Put on your favorite song. Then listen with the software on, then listen with it off. The sound quality improvement is unbelievable.
-
"Awesome!"
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
I played my 24hr dvd and I felt like I was at the movie theater watching the show. Awesome surround sound. I also like the fact that the software is easy to use, install, and is intuitive.
Cons
I would add more color to the interface. A little dark.

"This thing ROCKS!!!!"
Version: SRS Audio Sandbox 1
Pros
I don't know how I have gone this long without SRS!! I played my favorite MP3s through it and it made such a huge difference!! I really was surprised. I also stuck in the first Pirates of the Carribean movie to check it out....and it really sounded so much wider and the bass was definetely deeper. I'm not a games, so I don't know how it works with games....but I'm sold.
Cons
The screen is a little big, but they have a button to make it smaller, which helps.
