It is designed to help you record your trail, pin photos to your trail and make it easier to share your adventures . It replaces the need to carry a device to capture your location (like a GPS or data logger) and a camera.Note for Enthusiasts-----------------TrekkTrakker makes an excellent companion to those that have GPS devices (as long as they export to the GPX format) and digital cameras. You can push your adventure in real time from your iPhone/iPod. With the GPS data and photos TrekkTrakker captures, you can export the data from your GPS and upload pictures from your digital camera when you get back to a computer to enhance your Trekk.
