"Bun dar putin cunoscut (Good but little known)"
Version: Rising PC Doctor 6.0.5.39
Pros
(Rising is an average company, on a scale of 0-10 I would give it 7 for each of the products of their own. Rising PC Doctor is a weaker, and looks very much like Kingsoft PC Doctor ...If you want security from Rising, I recommend Rising Antivirus)Cons
(Rising AV tests disappointed and if you are an amateur internet user, I recommend a Avast! , Microsoft, Avira, AVG, etc.. Professional products for amateurs.
If you know what you have done on the internet and want an environmental protection program, rising pc doctor will not protect your computer just isn't enough)Summary
Este gratuit pentru o scanare il puteti folosi.
Tot odata incercati-l ca securitate aditionala, adica pe langa un program antivirus de baza ca cele de mai sus!
Bafta!
(A scan is free for you to use.
Try it all along as additional security, I mean besides basic an antivirus program like the ones above!
Good Luck!) -

"I liked the program"
Version: Rising PC Doctor 6.0.3.0
Pros
It sounds good and gives you good decisions and you want to trust it...
Cons
It downoads Trojans, or has an easy access to trojans...Maybe a Flaw i the program..or a hole through which they come through..
Summary
I liked the program at first and had it for about 2 weeks and than I noticed my computer getting slower so I uninstalled it...Did a scan with Avast and was loaded with Trojans .....I wish it wasn't that way cause I liked the program...I tried getting support and they don't speak english very well so I didn't get anywhere with that..

"seems to be okay"
Version: Rising PC Doctor 6.0.3.0
Pros
love that freeware, reasonably fast scan, multitude of features, informs you of vulnerbilities/available win updates, scans for trojans and spyware.
Cons
a small popup reminds me to install two std-daylight tme updates that do not install. some of the security suggestions are not clear or over my head. chinese-though has proficient english-but wait my computer was probably made in china???
Summary
i have been running this program for at least a month and it has given me no problems-i run it on startup and in my tray. i had been looking at this program for a while, but some of the reviews in cnet scared me off. they are also not very fresh. i am not particularly computer savvy. then i noticed someone on some security forums that seemed to be knowledgable had it listed as part of his defense, so i tried it. i am somewhat fearless as i run a netbook with only freeware installed and no significant data that can't be replaced. i pretty much just surf the net. i am also a scan(freeware only) addict(paranoid??). after running avast(my av),malwarebytes(my favorite),superantispyware, threatfire, immunet, emsisoft antimalware(about the same as the old a-squared scan),housecall, eset online scanner,dr. web cure it online scanner, sophos anti-rootkit,f secure blacklight, prevx free(facebook),spyware terminator, and hitman pro ihave yet to have rising pc doctor set off anything. i also have done right click scans on rising with avast, prevx, malwarebytes, immunet, and spyware terminator with no flags. i run 3 hips programs(threatfire on level five, winpatrol, and spyware terminator) and these have indicated that rising pc doctor sometimes "phones home" which is the only negative security action i have seen by rising pc doctor. so far, i think rising pc doctor is a keeper.

"Cumbersome, slowed down my PC, issues with uninstall"
Version: Rising PC Doctor 6.0
Pros
did not find any errors after aprox 45 min of work.
Cons
Slows down your system, left behind 149 items after removal, spybot foud spyware related to this program left behind. Using Revo too many items left behind.
Summary
Very dangerous program should not be here.

"Impressive, fast, thorough and very useful!"
Version: Rising PC Doctor 6.0
Pros
Quite impressed with this. Provides superb information on processes. Scans are quick, accurate and use modest resources. Works just fine with other AV/Spy tools.
Cons
Registry Tools failed to load. Just one bug in an otherwise fine product. Get it while still free.
Summary
Really, really impressed with this. Excellent and informative interface, scads of data presented in a very intuitive and easy to learn manner. I wish all scanners were this refined and detailed. Does not seem to cause a big resource or performance hit...despite doing quite a lot. The auto updates and reporting tools were excellent. I love that it works happily alongside my other AV and Malware tools. Absolutely recommend this product -- get it while it is still free!

"It is truly a smart security tool for users"
Version: Rising PC Doctor 6.0
Pros
I have used this Rising PC Doctor for almost 4 months, and I like it very much. This tool helped me finding out many potential malicious programs. Also, its interface designed much closer to me.
Cons
Many of this software?s functions are required Internet connection. While I using computer without Internet, I could not use these functions; it is really a pity.
Summary
For the first time I use this software, I was attracted by its lovely lion icon. After I have used this software for a long time, I was attracted by its useful functions. No matter web Trojan virus, nor potential malicious spyware, the Rising PC Doctor can protect these threats away form my computer. I like it very much and, it will protect my computer safely while I am online and offline both, with the local protection and Internet protection of Automatic protection tag.

"avira detected trojan in the installer"
Version: Rising PC Doctor 6.0
Pros
dont know as i didnt install it.
Cons
same as above...
Summary
i am a little suspicious about this one so il give it a miss until i see more reviews about it. when i did a google search there wasnt much info on it or reviews. i know its just out of the beta phase and its origin is "china", (the home of malware) . one review said that just after installation they had all sorts of security warnings and the end result was a trojan and browser hijack to a games website. however to be fair i ignored the review and tried to install it!! as soon as i clicked the exe file, avira detected a trojan and spyware terminator popped up with a browser hijack warning. given all of this i would say its probably not a good idea to try this one. would be a good idea if cnet would check this program and clarify that its safe ???
ok would like to update my review. i have re installed it and so far its clean and virus free. as stated in other reviews it is light on resources. been using it for a month now and i am quite impressed with it. its ultra quick on scanning and updates are automatic. it integrates well and i have had no conflicts running avg free and malwarebytes along side with it. it is very vague on what it actually does and as i run quite a tight ship on security it has not detected anything yet. will update later .
