Pros
Many features are provided in RIS 2011 and it is very light. Its trojan defense feature is very good indeed. Although the detection of RIS shown in VB100 is not so good, it still worth to try and you will know how good it is.
Cons
For this moment, none of cons that I can find but the only thing that I don't like is the news about RIS 2011 GUI is in chinese
Summary
It is an "install and forget" antivirus software that provides you strong protection. In my opinion, I suggest you to test RIS 2011 on your own rather than believing the tests done by other..because I previously used Avira premium but it failed me, it even cannot detect the USB virus in my pendrive.

It is less expesive than Kaspersky, everything is laid out for you in layman terms. Kasperkey is for those who really know a lot about computers and computer Terminology. It protects in my opinion just as well if not better thank Kaspersky. I am Purchasing Rrising from now on.

Is fast, doesnt slow my computer. Easy to use and has a nice looking interface.

The full scan takes a little bit too long (but does not slow my PC, at least that Ive notice).
Summary
So far I had Rising working perfectly both on my Windows 7 desktop and my XP laptop. I think I just got a great deal. I have had tried other antivirus but were really "heavy" and consum lots of resources.
I think if youre looking for a good smooth and fast antivirus you can check this one. -

Comprehensive, timely updates, plays well with other security programs, thorough scans, makes good attempts at repair of files, allows a layered approach, and can be "tuned" to suit most users. Resource usage is moderate.
Cons
The scans can be tedious if settings are in the thorough range, and making adjustments could be easier. I would like to see an "Ignore this item" menu choice that actually works. Email scanning has glitches.
Summary
A very mature, sophisticated product that does an excellent job and has great future potential to be a top 5 AV contender. The Interface still needs a bit more work, and if it bundled the malware scanning ability along with the AV & Internet Security, it would be a premium product in every way.

While I seeking security software for my new PC, some friends suggest me using RISING?s product; so I checked its website and the product introduction carefully.
Finally, I choose Rising Internet Security 2009. This software was newly released in 2009, and with antivirus and firewall solution both in one program. Also, I like new things and I think this full function security software may much better than installing two individual security programs. Also, I like the Active Defense option of Rising Internet Security. In this function, Rising Internet Security provides me active defense solution while online and offline both. So, I can enjoy surfing online without worrying about the malicious programs? threats; and keep my computer clean with its offline local device protection functions.
Also, this security software provides auto protections with malicious files or e-mail monitor service. I love this function so much. You know, while I downloading files or e-mails from website, this software will scan the files or e-mails after the download finished. I think this can make sure I have a file which is safe.
At the end, I share my opinion with all others: this Rising Internet Security has many wonderful security functions, I have found some thing out, and the others need your digging?
