Version: Rising Antivirus Free Edition 20.60
"HAVING PROBLEMS - (PROBABLY TROJANS) GET THIS!!!"
Pros: So many anti-virus from downloads.com, I have to be super slow and ineffective. Viruses and Trojans Die with this program. This program is quick to load and use (no red tape to wade through here).
Cons: It has a scan feature which opens when you turn on your PC, ( the window tells you to press escape to skip-which it does quickly). I need to find out how to disable this feature. Also a China-Based program- but I can't knock 'em, they helped me
Summary: I Took an old PC (4,5 yrs old running XP) which was ate up with trojans/ an unwanted pop-up toolbar and ran adaware. Which detected 70 or so viruses. Still having problems (the toolbar for one)- I ran "Rising" (full scan) it detected 200+ items wh... read more >>

Summary: Only been using Rising free edition for just over a week so it's too early to give a definite 'thumbs up'. First impressions say that it's good but, before giving an unqualified 'yes go and use it' to everyone, I feel that more time is required. I s... read more >>
