The sleek style of this Arkanoid remake invokes the spirit of the old arcade, only with better graphics and music. Ricochet Lost Worlds keeps the brick-busting fun and expands it with roving bricks and half-barrier bricks that make clearing the board challenging. You earn extra lives by bouncing the ball off gold rings. The animated background looks interesting without being distracting. The game would be improved with two-player play, and a window mode would be nice, too. The trial version disables some game levels and doesn't let you suspend a game to pick it up later. Still, with all the user-created levels available online, any fans of Arkanoid should enjoy Ricochet Lost Worlds.Publisher's description
From Reflexive Entertainment :With its stunning visuals and sound effects, gripping soundtrack, and compelling level design, Ricochet Lost Worlds could possibly be the most addictive block-buster game ever. This remarkable breakout action game will entertain your whole family for hours on end. Throw into the mix a slew of innovative power-ups, a new Ring game, and a level editor to create your own levels, and you have an unbeatable combination.

Version: Ricochet Lost Worlds 1
Pros: Somewhat neat graphics and sound effects.
Cons: The game was confusing and didnt make much sense. I also had tonnes of trouble getting the key code after I paid for it.
Spent lots of time going back and forth with Relfexive to get the key code that I paid for. Wow, what a mess.
Definitely not worth the trouble.

"The Best Breakout Game To Date!"
Pros: All those other games have something like 100 lvls.... and that's it. But in this however you get to make your own levels (and not those cheezy ones where you can only do 5 things and that's that) and even download over peoples! (and beleive me some of those are pretty cool) The game in general has plenty of surprises, cool sounds and fantastic graphics! If you like breakout games this is the only one you need.
Cons: No 2 Player option, and might be slow on non Windows XP Computers. The price is a little expesive, but a 2 hr trial aint bad.

Version: Ricochet Lost Worlds 1
Summary: As evidenced by the over 200 user-created rounds, for such a simple concept the graphic possibilities of this game seem limited only by the creators' imaginations. I've stuck with this game longer than any other, with still no sign of bordom, so it'... read more >>
