From VS Revo Group:Revo Uninstaller is a freeware innovative uninstall utility much faster than Windows Add/Remove applet. With its advanced and fast algorithm, Revo Uninstaller scans before and after you uninstall an application. After the program's regular uninstaller runs, you can remove additional unnecessary files, folders and registry keys that are usually left over on your computer. Even if you have a broken installation, Revo Uninstaller scans for an application's data on your hard disk drives and in the Windows registry and shows all found files, folders and registry items so you can delete them. Version 1.5 added saving of sorting column and type (ascending, descending), improved listing of Windows Installer (MSI) applications. Version 1.6 features enhanced scanning speed and user interface improvements.

Where the built-in and sluggish Windows Add or Remove Programs option fails, freeware Revo picks up the slack. It builds out a useful feature set on top of a fairly light, 1.5MB installation. Launching Revo fires up the Uninstaller screen, which shows icons and titles of all programs installed on your machine. You can change the View to List or Details, if you'd like more information. Right-clicking gives users a list of choices, from the fundamental like Uninstall and Remove from list, to Search Google, Show the installation directory, and quick access to the app's Help file, its About screen, and an Update link.
Revo also provides some powerful tools. Advanced mode adds program-specific Registry key access to the context menu. The Tools Optimizer holds the Autorun Manager, Windows Tools access screen, and a Junk File finder/killer. The Autorun Manager provides one-stop shopping for startup tweaking. Windows Tools pulls together various and disparate basic utilities under one umbrella, and the Junk killer is just killer.
The Tools Tracks Cleaner accesses cache-cleaning features, include standard browser cache functions as well as crash memory dump files, MS Office cleaners, system-wide and program-specific search histories, and more. Another cool function is the Hunter, which offers click-and-drag uninstall and process-killing functionality. Revo and the way that it will revolutionize your uninstall workflow is hard to pass up.

Version: Revo Uninstaller 1.6
"Very good uninstaller and freeware."
Pros: My experience with this program went pretty well. I had iTunes uninstalled but the it was still on my add/remove programs with no file size or remove option. I ran through too many paid uninstallers and none of them did the job of getting rid of the entry until Revo Uninstaller came in and it worked perfectly.
Very easy to use, good interface and doesn't confuse me at all. It also has cleaning options which is almost the same as any other cleaning software that you could pay $30 and up for. Very small in size, and the RAM usage doesn't bother me much.
This program could very well replace my Ace Utilities!
Cons: I've read that it doesn't get rid of all traces of registry and a lot of broken registries appear on CCleaner. This doesn't affect my rating, but it does make me want to have an extra program for registry cleaning if Revo Uninstaller doesn't do a good job at it or have the option to. It's still a good product overall.

"still, the best free program I've run across in ages!"
Pros: Simple to use and understand. Has 4 different settings from using the program (to be removed) to advanced where it will get it all in 99% of all uninstalls. The only thing that got rid of McAfee security which came factory installed on my new Dell desktop ( the removal tool didn't get it all). It has a couple other tools like a startup manager. Something folks might be interested in thats not available here is the Revo Uninstaller portable version. This is available at their home page and is a great alternative as it works beautifully from a portable device like a Flash Drive. I've tested it from my 4 GB Transcend Jet Flash travel drive and it's the same as this version, just not installed on my hard drive. Just open the extracted folder and click the icon.
Cons: Not safe 100% of the time. In rare cases it might kill a shared registry item (so some claim at a couple user forums) but I've yet to experience it.

Pros: It removes programs very easily and quickly and the best part about it is that it searches for any remaining files left after the program is uninstalled, it just a great program, most uninstallers do not remove the leftover files. Mush better than using the Windows Control Panel and it's much better than the last program I used which was ZSoft.

"Great uninstall utility with good features"
Pros: This is good uninstaller which effectively removes software from your computer, it TOTALLY removes every trace of the software in your system.
It removes registry entries and other traces off your system, painlessly.
Cons: Are you kidding me ? This software is a diamond !
