Where the built-in and sluggish Windows Add or Remove Programs option fails, freeware Revo picks up the slack. It builds out a useful feature set on top of a fairly light, 1.5MB installation. Launching Revo fires up the Uninstaller screen, which shows icons and titles of all programs installed on your machine. You can change the View to List or Details, if you'd like more information. Right-clicking gives users a list of choices, from the fundamental like Uninstall and Remove from list, to Search Google, Show the installation directory, and quick access to the app's Help file, its About screen, and an Update link.
Revo also provides some powerful tools. Advanced mode adds program-specific Registry key access to the context menu. The Tools Optimizer holds the Autorun Manager, Windows Tools access screen, and a Junk File finder/killer. The Autorun Manager provides one-stop shopping for startup tweaking. Windows Tools pulls together various and disparate basic utilities under one umbrella, and the Junk killer is just killer.
The Tools Tracks Cleaner accesses cache-cleaning features, include standard browser cache functions as well as crash memory dump files, MS Office cleaners, system-wide and program-specific search histories, and more. Another cool function is the Hunter, which offers click-and-drag uninstall and process-killing functionality. Revo and the way that it will revolutionize your uninstall workflow is hard to pass up.

Especially like the feature where you can optionally remove registry entries and leftover files after the uninstall. Very useful.

This uninstaller is not really for a novice--unfortunately. It is for someone that understands the registry and what entries are offered for removal. Having said that, I believe that even a novice user may be able to operate this program safely by following the programs suggestions. A novice user may understand fully what is going on but will definitely keep their system operating better and have a lot less junk around. For everyone else? This program is extremely useful. I now use it all the time. It is what Windows should be doing when uninstalling a program.

Might be False Positives, or poor scan engines, you can only type so many words here so I have to keep it short.
I scanned, V1.5 from CNET, V1.6 and the portable .EXE and .ZIP from website.
at Virus total which uses pretty much ALL the popular Engines 31 of them so I will only show the detected results in Cons, Jotti and Trendmicro Housecall.

Been using Revo for about a year and appreciate the thoroughness of this program.
It helps get rid of unwanted programs right down to the last file and Reg key.
Easy to, learn. Stable - flexible.
Has a nice, customizable junk cleaner with "safe" preset exclusion and safe extensive privacy cleaner.
An un-delete for the "oops" in all of us.
Erase sensitive data.
It also has wiping if you want to go that far. "Caution"
Comes as an “Install� version or “Portable� version.
Cons
Wipe features should be used with caution as the wrong selection could make your system unusable.
