"Good quality captures"

Pros
Not only is does it capture much better quality video than its competitors, but it captures the sound (without using a microphone) even if you haven't got stereo mix/wave or whatever. I've gone and got the full version.
Cons
none that I've experienced.

Summary
I did alot of research on finding a video recorder to easily record what i'm watching on my laptop screen. This can be a webcam video chat, hi-def video, movie etc. Whatever shows on your screen it will record video and sound its that simple. I can say I couldn't be happier with replay video capture. It was easy to use in every way from install to recording itself. The recording quality is awesome hi-def video and sound. I'm totally thrilled with this software. After recording it automatically saves the video to your computer. Its just that easy. I really couldn't be any happier and I give it a perfect 5 stars.

Well, as advertised, this is a tiny little program that lets you record dvds or screen capture without using lots of bandwidth. For me, this means a much better picture. When I got it, I loved it.
Cons
It doesn't always work. I know there is a method to the madness. . . It records hulu, but it only records some amazon. The big problem is, you don't know til the end of the recording. You have to record the whole thing then see it if the file took.
Summary
I have two other, larger, paid programs, and I try them first. After all, I can see them recording, and I know if it is working if the video is all choppy. If they don't work well, I open up this little program. About 60-75% of the time, it produces a usable file. So, I am glad to have it for a last ditch effort.

Summary
Just select all or a particular area of the screen that you want to capture and click on record, it really is that simple. There are a sufficient number of customisable settings that should satisfy both novice and experienced users. I found the capture quality at high kbps settings to be good enough for me not to notice the difference between the original and the saved video. Video can be captured to MPEG-2 or Windows Media 9 format. Audio capture quality is also adjustable and can be set at high or low kbps settings. The capturing process even at the highest settings avoids being too disk space hungry or cpu intensive which helps to prevent any video lag during the recording process. Even mid to low-end computer systems should be fine running this software.
