This bare-bones utility is not for beginners but does a good job of removing software. The interface is extremely simple, with a list of installed programs on the right side and paths to their locations on the left. The second tab lists items you can restore. The accompanying read-me file tells you how to uninstall, recover, and modify programs in the list. The lack of a more intuitive interface and the ability to delete hidden files make this program dangerous for neophytes, and we recommend they try another uninstall utility. To its credit, Remove competently deletes all components of a selected program quickly and efficiently and can identify applications that have been surreptitiously installed on your hard drive. However, given its interface issues, we can only recommend it to people who are very comfortable getting under the hoods of their computers.Publisher's description
From Webdesign Mika Salonen :Remove is a powerful utility for uninstalling programs you no longer want on your computer. You can easily get rid of unnecessary applications, partially uninstalled software, and unwanted Windows components. You are able to uninstall programs that cannot be uninstalled through Add/Remove Programs. In addition to the standard uninstall option, Remove allows you to remove, modify, backup, and restore your Add/Remove Programs list entries. Removing invalid entries is easier than ever. It also lets you copy application names, uninstaller locations, and version numbers to the Windows Clipboard. In fact, Remove is more powerful than other uninstallers and Add/Remove Programs list cleaners. Remove can uninstall and remove more software and invalid entries because of its advanced features, such as uninstalling and deleting hidden programs and entries. Version 4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Remove 4
Pros: Registry Backup option of required progs, I suppose.
Cons: It stays engaged when an uninstalltion is in progress. It has to refresh the entire list everytime something changes, having the user to scroll back to where they last were. Not good if you have too much software installed.
Why list software if the uninstallation option is disabled. (Sure because some are system software, updates, etc.) But then isn't this supposed to uninstall anything and everything as there are some software that can be uninstalled safely without any adverse effect on the system.
It cannot remove software if the uninstaller asks for additional resources, etc.
To me it seems just as if it runs the normal program accompanied uninstaller, and does nothing else later. i.e. if the uninstaller chooses to leave behind a few files, well then those files still exist. Not a totally clean uninstall.
Registry entries are also not removed.
