    "Yet another repackaged Ultravnc"

by Kokel on January 11, 2006

Pros: The ultravnc part of their code seems to work fine.

Cons: The extra programs packaged into the self extracting zip with ultravnc are unreliable. Can't really see any features that aren't in other packages even though they say they are the only one to offer safe mode, citrix, network streaming and dualdesk all offer that feature. Their website looks like they simply cut and pasted features word for word from their competitors websites. It looks like they had a cool idea in the beginning but then took the easy way out in the end.

"Works as advertised. Fair pricing structure. Cool Features. Fantastic support!!"

by bugmenow on February 16, 2006

Pros: Before trying (and eventually purchasing) this product I tried many of the other products on the market. NONE compaired to the easy of setup, great looks, and functionallity of RSS. I have never received compliments from clients on the software I would use, but within the first week of using RSS, I had clients telling me how cool my remote tool was and how they could appreciate how easy it was to use.

RSS isn't just a program, it's an online community of IT professionals who all work together (forum). Plus RSS has the best customer support of any product I have ever purchased!!! RSS rocks!!

Cons: NO compliants, am kind of surprised at others negative comments. Sure there are other products out there similar, but non have the cool features, and the usability of RSS.

"Good for home use but not in a serious help desk environment."

by PhastFreak on January 12, 2006

Pros: The vnc part works ok on XP systems. The safe mode stuff is great when it dosn't get you stuck in perpetual safe mode.

Cons: I have to agree with jackgee and kokel, it has way too many problems on older systems and the billing system is cheezy letting your clients see you billing them. If you are using it for home use it's ok but it's not reliable enough yet to use in a professional environment unless you don't care about your reputation with your clients. Stick with a more mature offering from one of the bigger companies if you are using it in a serious support business. It has promise but it's just not there yet.

"VNC Based with Lot of nice features. Love the pricing structure!"

by SwiftKick on January 16, 2006

Pros: This is a VNC based product that works GREAT! All the tools are there to make it an easy rollout. Anyone who doesn't like this product simply hasen't played with it enough. It looks very professional, and works very well. The added features like reboot, screen draw, invoicing, etc really set it apart from the others. But my favorite feature is the ONE TIME COST. Most all other products are service based. I really can appreciate the ease of use of the builder application and the professional look of the client. This product just plain works! That's saying something in a realm of products that offer much but deliver little. RSS delivers. Way to go RSS dudes!

"Works well, awefully expensive to register"

by !paradoxical! on February 9, 2006

Pros: So what if this is "just" a shell over UltraVPN? Very cool, very adaptable, the billing email, customizable is professional and helpful. The built user executable is small enought to email or floppy. I'm an almost beginner in understanding TCP/IP networking, yet after I did a port forwarding in my router and got my public IP for the build, wow, there I was on myself!

Cons: Big ugly splash "Not For Commercial Use". It costs only $349 to get rid of it. That was NOT a typo. Outrageous, especially since it's build on public licensing. Check out Radmin for something not dissimiliar with a $35 license for one client and server. Hint: product name is the domain name.
