This Registry cleaning, diagnostic, and backup utility benefits greatly from a well-designed interface and simple program operation. Registry Help Pro's flexible, option-laden interface speaks to the professional nature of this app. In no way does it use wizards and hand-holding to help novices. The well-written Help manual will gracefully answer any questions, but experienced users probably will never call for it.
Seven large buttons line the top of Registry Help Pro. Each opens the options and display for the program's seven primary functions. The best aspects of this application are the ever present option and properties buttons that lie just below the major function buttons. They change as needed by the current primary function. Check boxes, radio buttons, and simple pull-downs make setting options and properties a snap.
The utility will scan and repair, defragment, browse, compare, search, and tweak your Registry. The Standard scan is fairly quick, but not as precise as the Complete scan. The 17 scan areas can be easily selected for custom scans. Registry browsing and searching makes it very easy to find and edit Keys. Testers found the advanced search useful, but slow. The Registry Comparison function can quickly find differences between saved Registry snapshots, but it would be helpful if users could generate snapshots without loading Registry Help Pro. More than a dozen Registry Tweaks will be helpful to some expert users. The program's History quickly finds and restores deleted keys
The demo's limitations include repairing only 30 errors and blocking the defrag tool, but Registry Help Pro makes sure users can fully test major functions. There are many utilities in this genre, but Registry Help Pro is one of the most flexible and easiest to use expert tools we've tested.

Version: Registry Help Pro 1.15
"Claims no Limitations - Have to purchase before being able to clean"
Pros: Found a good number of problems
Cons: I was unable to fix the problems and evaluate how well it performed due to having to purchase the program to clean the registry after problems were found. Personally, I will not purchase any program that claims no limitations and then creates one after you use the program. I feel any reputable program should be able to run completely, with the only limitation being a time limit. That way a program can be properly evaluated before purchasing.
