"Error prone Registration System"
Version: Registry Drill 4.4
Seems like a good program if you can get it registered.
The registration process involves a ridiculously convoluted system of sending a code generated by the Trial program back to the company. Then they give you a registration code, and a link to download a "registration program".
Run from these people as far and as fast as you can. They seem to be stuck in the Stone Age of programming. Their terrible registration system is prone to human error, with two different human links instead of an automated registration generation system.
You install the "Trial" program, which doesn't do anything, so in my opinion, it is not a true trial. To get the real version, you e-mail them back a code that appears in the program screen. Then they e-mail you the registration code and a link, which also needs its own ID and Password, where you download a separate "registration" program, where you supposedly are then able to enter the registration code. I have not even been able to register the product yet because they gave me the wrong link for the registration program. Apparently, there are different ones for each of their products. What a convoluted mess it has turned out to bee. I am in the second day of trying to get it registered, and still have not gotten it resolved. Even if I manage to get the program to work, I would rate this a big, fat ZERO because the registration is so egregiously awful.
