"HARD DRIVE CRASHED -- Don't Buy RegDefense"
Pros: Started out like it was working good and fooled me.
Cons: Caused a complete crash of my laptop using Windows XP Pro saying I needed missing file HAL.DLL and original disk for SP 2 and SP 3. The tech took out the hard drive and the index and pointers to where the data is seems to be all gone. I lost it all.
Summary: I was scammed. Don't buy it -- don't ever use it -- tell everyone you know.

Pros: NONE...CAN'T GET IT TO REGISTER!...WHICH MEANS IT WON'T FIX....WHICH MEANS "I JUST PISSED $43.95 DOWN THE CAN!"
Cons: FREE VERSION, SAYS IT FOUND 1000 ERRORS, QUICK RESEARCH ON IT & ALL WERE GREAT (FOR SOME DUMB-AZZ REASON I DIDN'T CHECK CNET) GET MY KEY GO TO ENTER IT & IT SAYS "KEY INVALID" .

"I can't see any improvement since installing RegDefence"
Pros: I did not see any improvement in computer speed ergo I don't have any pro's.
Cons: I can't see any improvement since installing RegDefence
Summary: Based on advertisement I expected to see a marked improvement in computer speed. It didn't noticably change, ergo I feel I threw away cost of the item.

"Desktop pc completely useless! Purchase was a blunder."
Pros: Absolutely nothing! This softward wrecked my computer and their customer support would only email me and not give the correct solutions.
Cons: It is a horrible product that made my computer useless.
Summary: The website said that Reg Def was a top pick on a prominent PC review site (can't remember which one). After running the scan and determining I had many problems, I purchased Reg Def. Supposedly it would clean my registry. Instead, all words and let... read more >>

"So far it works as advertised on my new Dell laptop."
Pros: It's fast and can be programmed to erase problems automatically. It's faster than RegCure and has no lockups like RegCure had.
Cons: None so far+++++
Summary: I will renew after one year if it is still working like it does now.
