Registry Clean Expert scans the Windows Registry and finds incorrect or obsolete information. After fixing the invalid entries, your system will run faster and without errors. The backup/restore function lets you back up your whole Windows Registry, so you can restore it to the current status if you encounter a system failure. Also, the start-up and BHO organizer features give you complete control of your start-up and Internet Explorer BHO items with ease. The product can also defrag/compact your registry to remove the gaps in the registry. Besides the above, it also contains the tracks eraser feature to protect your privacy. Whether you're a business person who wants to keep your computer stable and brisk, a home user who needs to be able to restore your computer after your kids load a computer game that causes crashes, or a student who wants to keep other kids from discovering what Internet resources have been accessed, Registry Clean Expert has the tools that you need.

Pros: Sometimes it looks hopeless. I'm referring to the fact that quality publishers of software of this type offer full free trials. It's only my opinion but "I wouldn't trust any application that offers such a useless free trial". These trials do nothing to help one determine whether or not the application is any good at all. These things appear more like scams then anything else. I recommend "Tuneup Utilities 2007" which does so much more and offers a full 30 day, free trial.
Cons: I wouldn't waste my time on a software of this type that comes with a 10 error repair trial.
Pros: Confused about what I see. Seemed to be an awful lot.
Cons: The cost, when it was advertised as being "FREE". Then to repair these confusing items, it appears to be a "BAIT AND SWITCH" tactic, now one needs to have to spend Over $29.00 to download and an additional cost of $10.00 if you want a CD, plus shipping & handling. CNET "SHOULD NOT" allow these tactics to be provided on their site. Just give the cost and let it be for this software and all others that bear the same ilk.
