This Registry-optimization tool presents itself as a solid choice in a large field of competing products. Registry CheckUp's attractive, Mac-style interface is a pleasure to use, with clearly labeled icons for performing all functions. The application scans your Registry for a number of invalid keys, including ActiveX controls, fonts, and uninstallers. Clicking on the name of each category will let you drill down into a list, where you can choose to include or exclude certain file types. Similar to all good Registry cleaners, this one offers a tool for creating an archive of your Registry, useful in case the application accidentally removes a crucial key. In addition, Registry CheckUp manages browser helper objects and programs that launch on PC start-up. In our tests, the app demonstrated reliable and speedy performance, making it possible for us to recommend it to users who suspect their Registry is full of junk files.

  "Like what it's done so far"

  Pros: I'm pretty new with it so I can't honestly say about pros & cons. But I ran a scan it found a lot of problems fixed them and now I'm on my way.

  Cons: Nothing negative to write...........yet!

  "it eases for using. Fast scanning."

  Pros: It is Fast scanning and easy for the user.

  Cons: It can't to drop the context window to the task bar.

  Pros: I've tried a few of these programs and this one finds and fixes more. The interface is slick. It's one of the few programs I am considering purchasing.
