This easy-to-use tool lets you remove faulty Registry entries that slow down your computer, but the unreasonable trial period won't appeal to most users. Registry Booster presents an aesthetically pleasing interface with four sections--System Overview, Registry Scan, Settings, and Restore--organized in tabs. Among other things, the program scans for invalid ActiveX controls, file extensions, application paths, and file associations. You can minimize it to your system tray and perform error scanning in the background. Before you can proceed in removing entries, the program prompts you to back up your Registry. The scan was quick and errors were displayed for review with check boxes to indicate removal, but the trial version is limited to 15 repairs. Also included is a Registry Defragmenter to remove gaps left by the repair, although this feature also disabled in the demo. Though the trial limitation is on the stingy side, this program worked quickly and is easy enough for anyone to use.Publisher's description

I had 400 or so (when i scanned with uniblue, ccleaner found over 600 in my registry alone)Summary: LOL after I uninstalled this dumb program, it left rogue start menu keys in the registry.

Pros: I'm getting away without serious damage and general agro to my computer. Trying to control svhost.exe lead me to their buy it page. I'm removing the tryout version.
Cons: It's hard to believe that a legit looking page advertising this product can be such a con! You streetwise dudes!
