CNET Editors' review
A clean, tabbed layout makes Registry Booster easy to use, and its Registry-centric features keep it focused and in fighting trim. The trial version comes burdened by some tight restrictions that will make it hard for average users to evaluate, but the program does a surprisingly good job of showing you precisely what would be fixed.
Annoyingly, after the program installs, if you choose to launch it immediately it will go directly into a scan without asking for user approval. Depending on your system resources and what other programs you have open, this could lead to a temporary but dramatic system slowdown. Once that first scan is complete, Registry Booster will take you directly to the Registry Scan tab and the scan results suboption. From there, click the small View Results link at the bottom of the pane to see a log of which Registry keys were flagged as problematic. The log will show you the key locations, too. Other left-nav tabs allow you to set an Ignore list, view saved cleaning logs, and defrag your Registry. You can also toggle Minimize and Close button behavior, as well as setting the program to run at Windows start-up or run a scan when it launches.
The trialware allows for only 15 sections of the Registry to be repaired, and the Registry defragger is similarly truncated. Running the program did clear up 15 problems in the Registry, although it would be better if users could determine which 15 problems get fixed so that we could better gauge Registry Booster's efficacy. A less noticeable problem was that the program incorrectly showed the amount of physical memory on the test computer under the System Information tab, calculating 2GB of RAM when there was actually 3GB. Registry Booster is a decent and focused Registry tool, but a more open trial might convince more people that the program is worth buying.

"Uniblue Registry Booster 2011 Is Quick and Thorough"
Version: Registry Booster 2011 6.0.2.6
Pros
Sooo easy to use.
Click a couple of times and away it goes. There was about a 15 second difference in the start up of my PC (running Windows XP). Also I really like the GUI of Registry Booster which is tidy and organized.Cons
Compared to some other registry cleaners the features seem a little thin. (For example a couple of other registry cleaners have Antivirus features.)
Summary
Certainly one of the best registry cleaners out there with it's effective registry clean ups and definitely one of the easiest to use
The review above didn't give me enough info about Registry Booster to make a decision but I heard good things about it so I scoured around and found this review the most helpful:
(http://www.windows-registryrecovery.com/OurProducts/registry-booster.html) This helped convince me that this was the right choice.
If you're having registry issues I encourage you to go ahead to the top of the page and click "Download Now" because it give you what you want... more speed. -
"No perceptible improvement"
Version: Registry Booster 2011 6.0.2.6
Pros
None observed.
Cons
No choice offered to schedule a time consuming first scan.
Unwanted changes made to mouse parameters.
No benefit observed from the lengthy scan and correction process.Summary
It had been more than a year since I had done a registry cleanup; so I expected to have to wait a while. No estimate of the time required was displayed, only a count of the whopping number (over 1600) of errors detected.
On the next system startup no improvement was noticeable in startup time or ongoing performance. If 1600 errors were detected and corrected this is surprising.
Worse was the unwanted change to the mouse function. Button two did nothing. When I went to the Control Panel and checked the mouse settings I saw "double click" displayed for button two's function, as it had been before the registry scan. I had to set it to something else, apply the change, and then set it back to "double click" to make it work. Since then the button two function has been repeatedly disabled under conditions that I haven't pinned down. I don't appreciate a utility that does damage while providing no benefit.
I made the mistake of buying this product. I will uninstall it and will not pay for it. -
"Dependable"
Version: Registry Booster 2011 6.0.2.6
Pros
I have "Registry Booster" working in tandem with "Speed Up My PC " and "DriverScanner" which Uniblue Calls their "Power Suite".
Clearly a faster computer after running the aforementioned "Power Suite". I would recommend the use of these products.Cons
So Far.......So Good
Summary
No one program does it all.....However being a PC owner for many years, I've found this product to be both effective and reliable at a reasonable price
