From Piriform:Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes, and viruses.
Version 1.15.327 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: Photos & videos on an SD card appeared to be lost. While the initial scan recovered a couple of pics, the deep scan recovered every one and the videos too. The wizard made the software easy to use immediately, and it installed without any problems.

Pros: I tried other softwares that failed to recover the files. RECUVA.COM worked great by recovering all the lost files. Make sure to use the detailed scan. I donated $20.00

Cons: haven't had to use it enough to really analyze everything, but it did what i needed it to do
