Version: Recover My Files 3.28
"Works well for formatted or bad partitioned drives"
Pros: This is one of the few programs that will recover files from a formatted or badily partitioned drive. In my case I had tried to merge two partitions back together on a hard drive with devistating results that made so many errors that it wouldn't even let me format it Pc inspector just kept comming up with errors when I tried to use it to scan the bad hard drive, I'm sure pc inspector is fine if you just want to get back a deleted file but not for what i needed it for.
Cons: It does take a long time, I chose to recover every file on the 80 gig drive. Took about 2 days to finish scanning the drive lol.

"HATE IT!!! Use PC inspectort file recovery!"
Cons: IT SUCKS!!! I used a free program, and got totally better results, and all my files back for FREE!!! And, this took 3 hrs, and PC inspector took 5 min.

Pros: Recovered my formatted hard drive with no problems. Got back the whole file and folder structure. The preview is great - could see my files so the decision to purchase a registration key was easy. I like the way you can also search for individual file types, plus you can burn the results directly to CD or DVD.
Cons: Cant think on any cons. It could be a bit faster on a really big hard drive.
