Plus was the first in this line of software I used. It worked great but I do a lot of pond designs so I upgraded to the Pro version.

"Bad Licensing Practice !!!!"

Does allow you to import a photo of your landscape to design on but other programs do also. It allows you to create your own plants from impored photo.
Cons
Realtime Landscape Pro version 5 does not allow a licensed reinstall. You have to call 9-5 M-F to get a new code each time you need to re-install.
Summary
Overall, it would be a reasonable program if not that you get a one time install on your computer for the price. If you need to install due to computer crash or other problems with the program, then you need to contact them for a new code. If they are still in business. I own it and the activation key they give you even has your last name in it. Yet when I went to re-install the software on my Hard drive, I now have to call for new code from idea spectrum since the code they give is a one time shot. Life expectancy for use of the software is on how long they will still be around to answer the phone. Other software for landscaping at least you if the company goes out of business you can still use the software for a few years. This one you will not be able too. They close their door's and you can close yours too even though you paid all that money. Avoid this program! If you ever get into a fix, and figure you can reinstall your LICENSED software with the registration key they send you (With your last name on it), you can not!. Plan fact, if ya have problems with your software, you need a new code to get it to work! Period
God forbid they go out of business. -

The download/trial is for a different product, Realtime Landscaping Photo. You can check out Idea Spectrum products here: http://www.ideaspectrum.com/. Still interested in seeing a trial version of the Landscaping Plus software to test the 3D capabilities. As another reviewer mentioned, the photo features are part of the Landscaping Plus software, but certainly not to decide whether the exta cost is worth the additional 3D features. There's a good video on toptenreviews.com.

This is excellent software! Using Realtime Landscaping Photo (a part of the program) you can add a photo of your house and use it as the background to your landscaping design. I think it is "Super Realistic!" Easy to install and use. Several tutorials are available to assist you. The software includes many nice features including a list of the plants used in the design. I would highly recommend this program! Give a try?
Cons
Apparently they had a large increase in price since the last version was introduced. I think it is about $20 over priced, but as I commented earlier it is super software. If you are designing your landscape yourself, I think it is a worthy purchase even at its new price point.
