"Make the best of digital camera images - for free!"

Pros
A really excellent RAW image editing program. Fast, with a good set of well thought out tools. Non destructive editing, saves as tif (8 or 16 bit) or jpeg with various setting to optimize for individual preferences and requirements.
Its only serious competitor is the RAW plugin for the GIMP and GIMPshop (also completely free and thoroughly recommendable). It certainly beats forking out mega bucks for Photoshop's gradually diminishing advantages.
Cons
Only one tiny thing. For some reason my mouse cursor is a little slower when using RawShooter.

Simple an quick to use. Allows various camera makes of RAW images to be quickly balanced for colour and exposure. Can then save images as TIFF or JPEG files for further manipulation. As a freebie it will take some beating. Check with the publisher that it supports your RAW format.
Cons
Aren't any I can see. I will be making a couple of suggestions to the company for possible enhancements.

Pros
Very fast with good colour extraction. Sharpening is very good with low levels of artefacts.
Excellent workflow.
Much better than C1 Pro.
Free!!!!!
