This freeware toolbar has links to Italian news and music sites, along with some trace cleaning tools, but some of the preset radio stations were in a format that Windows Media Player didn't recognize.
The simply designed Radio Italia Toolbar adds links to Italian radio stations, video feeds, and news sites. It also has an e-mail notification system, which alerts you when e-mail comes in to to any of your accounts. It was easy to add accounts, and the instructions and interface were in English. The trace cleaning tools, however, are only offered in Italian. You'll also need to go to the Opzione link to access the settings, where you'll find the controls in English. It even allows you to display the temperature of the city of your choice.
Although the links worked fine for the news and entertainment sites, performance hit a sour note when it came to the radio stations. On some presets, an error message consistently appeared. Nevertheless, if you're comfortable switching between English and Italian and don't mind the tool's flaws, Radio Italia Toolbar is a decent way for users to get to their favorite Italian media sites.
