Publisher's description of Quicksys RegDefrag 2.1
Quicksys RegDefrag is a freeware utility to defrag registry. Improve whole performance and boost access to registry. Registry data is constantly being written to and removed during a normal Windows operation. Over time this data becomes fragmented. Quicksys RegDefrag optimizes registry by removing gaps, fragments and wasted space in Windows registry files.
Version 2.1 has improved Unicode characters support, improved Windows Service Pack detection at Registry Information, added new parameter (-REMOVETEMP) to remove older temp files, fixed memory leak at -REMOVEBACKUPS parameter, and other improvements.

Version: Quicksys RegDefrag 2.1
Pros: Very easy to use.
1. Analyze your registry.
2. Review analyze results.
3. Defrag the registry. Restart is required.
Analyze results current registry size 33,472 KB. New registry size after defrag 32,492 KB size difference 980 KB 2.93 %.Cons: There is nothing to dislike.

"definite difference in speed and performance"
Pros: cleans out only what you want, and gets rid of a lot of clutter, positive improvement to performance and over al processing.

"reserving judgement as i've only run it twice so far"
Pros: easy nearly elementary interface; easy to understand/use;may be good supplement to a more function and choice RICH REGDEFRAGGER if not primary solution.
Cons: could be hard for some users to take seriously and/or believe it actually performs at high level
Summary: used once after install(vers. 2.1) and updated vers.(2.2) i used 2 more times.seems to provide adequate safety measures to allow choices when run and recovery options afterwards so give it a whirl!!
