Resizing Cropping and also Web Cam or DV Cam fluxes capture to avi divx . Batch Conversions supported, desktop activity recording. Also Included are two users modes: Mode 1--Easy Mode Very intuitive : For all users includes: standard conversions settings to allow users to convert quickly without having any particular skills. Convert In 3-5 clicks. Now also includes custom resizing possibility where appropriate and thumbnails capture. Mode2--Expert mode: For skilled and more experienced users, allows more flexibility and more specialized conversions settings such as cropping bitrates frequency rates, sizes ,aspect, includes much more codecs and requires good knowledge of video and audio conversion.

Version: Quick Media Converter 3.5.7
"Swiss Army knife -- does it all, easily"
Pros: Even converts SWF and MP4 without a hiccup. Easy and Advanced GUI. Audio and video. Way, WAY better than buggy Mediacoder. Try this latest version.
Also has free screencasting software, Camstudio 2.5! Man, I'm going to donate to this one. :-)

This freeware is in our view as good as it gets,it will cover most you needs with respect to video and audio conversion,it is simple intuitive and very fast. We have worked very hard to make video and audio conversion accessible to all by using standard formats and allowing you to change them as you wish .
We understand readng the comments below that there was a problem with the version 2.9 with the initial Install file on this server, unfortunately nobody told us, now it this is completely solved and the current version 3.5.7 isn't in beta testing anymore and the Install file should work just fine.
We get wonderful comments from all around the world give it a try and we are sure you will not be disatisfied.
We worked hard to bring you this and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do .

"Even a beginner like me can use this program!"
Pros: I was many times intimidated by the complexity of the video and audio conversion software available around for free or not . For a long time I was reluctant to even try until a friend told me about it as he found it to be very simple and definitely user friendly and he also strongly encouraged me to try it too .
I decided to finally take the step and I succeeded on the first conversion trial, all I really needed was to convert a .flv file to an avi divx to read on my home dvd. The result was incredibly fast and of outstanding quality (in just 4clicks) . I therefore really strongly urge you to try this tool best of all it is a freeware! I am really impressed thanks you guys keep up the excellent work!!.
