From SB Software :QuadSucker/News is a multithreaded Usenet news downloader. It is optimized for downloading images, and includes built-in support for viewing GIF and JPEG files. Other types of files can also be downloaded, including sound, applications, and HTML. Multiple threads allow up to four news articles to be downloaded simultaneously, promoting a speed advantage of up to 400% over single-threaded news downloaders. Built-in black list and white list options make filtering content effortless. Advanced duplicate database is able to reject files based on subject, filename, or contents. Very easy to use. The shareware version is fully functional.
