Privacy Eraser Pro is an Internet eraser that cleans up all Internet tracks and past computer activities. It can quickly erase your cache, cookies, history, visited URLs, typed URLs, autocomplete form data, index.dat files, the swap file, and temp folders. The cookie-cleaning feature allows you to specify which cookies to keep, so you don't erase your important log-in cookies. Privacy Eraser Pro supports free plug-ins that extend cleaning features that support popular programs such as ACDSee, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Kazaa, and ICQ. The application's additional features include a secure file shredder and scheduled cleanups. Privacy Eraser Pro completely implements the U.S. Department of Defense DoD 5220.22-M and NSA clearing and sanitizing standard.

Version 7.50 adds support for Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox 3.0.11, Google Chrome 2.0, Opera 9.64.

"The software does what it says it does"

Pros: Very easy to use. Does a good job.

Cons: No automatic updates.

Summary: Very good product that I would recommend.
