It's hard to find a flaw with this application that lets you easily create and save a customizable list of files within a folder or directory. PrintFolder Pro includes a Windows Explorer-like Navigator so you can quickly choose folders. Press the OK button and the list is displayed in a text-editing pane to the right. You can specify what information is shown, including name, file size, and date and time created. Advanced options let you select additional information such as attributes, disk usage, and the complete path, and allow you to format the output as text, HTML, or delimited. You can print, copy, or save the information, with a few options for formatting the text and setting up a page for printing. The program also is available from Explorer's right-click context menu. In our tests, PrintFolder Pro worked well and offered a satisfying number of ways to customize the output, although the advanced options might send the novice to the help file. PrintFolder Pro is a nice tool for intrepid novices and more advanced users who want a quick way to obtain and save file information.Publisher's description
From No Nonsense Software :Using Windows Explorer, printing a list of files is hard work. In fact, it's almost impossible. PrintFolder Pro is a fast and efficient utility that lets you print a list of files in any folder (and in its subfolders, too, if you wish). Beyond being extremely easy to use, you can customize file lists to fit your own preferences. List filenames only, or include file size, date, time, attributes, and more.

Version: PrintFolder Pro 3.2
Pros: Having experimented with the trial versions of several folder print applications I'm fairly confident in saying PrintFolder 3.2 is the best of the lot. Setting perferences for inclusions, exclusions is fast and easy. The program's "simple" mode allows users to specify common formatting options by simply checking or un-checking various boxes. For customized formatting, users can switch to "advanced" mode which offers great flexibility through an interface that is similar to mp3 tagging applications. In general, the UI is by far the most intuitive and user-friendly of all the apps I tested.
Cons: The price is not $25 (as shown here at CNET) but actually $30. This ranks PrintFolder 3.2 among the most expensive applications of it's kind. Similar programs from other publishers were typically priced from $10 - 25. That said, if this is something you would use on a daily basis, the additional expense may be justified.

"Why pay for this when a free app is better?"
Pros: The interface is well-designed.
Cons: It's slow, and you must pay for it after the trial period. JR Directory Printer is much faster, and it's free.
