Portable applications seem to be all the rage right now and rightfully so. With them, you can launch your own, customized applications from any computer. Firefox Portable brings that freedom to the Firefox browser.
Firefox Portable lets you take your very own customized version of Firefox with you for use on-the-go. The application launches from any kind of USB file sharing device. We saved the program to our thumbdrive and immediately launched Firefox. From there, we customized it by adding new tools and bookmarks. Using the password manager, we also saved our passwords. When we ejected our thumbdrive and plugged it into a different computer, we were able to launch Firefox, complete with all of our customizations, and browse the Web as usual.
If you keep a lot of bookmarks and passwords, and want to take them wherever you go, this is the freeware tool for you. We highly recommend Firefox Portable for all user levels.

It has some specially-selected optimizations to make it perform faster and extend the life of your USB key as well as a specialized launcher that will allow most of your favorite extensions to work as you switch computers. It will also work from a CDRW drive (in packet mode), ZIP drives, external hard drives, some MP3 players, flash RAM cards and more (Note: It will not run from read-only media like a CD-R, but Portable Firefox Live will).

Pros: our school has internet explorer so i needed something better to put on my flash drive
runs great
simple
runs on most windows computers
portable
multi tabs for multi web sites
quik
easy
Cons: doesnt save cookies and such like the normal one does
but thats because its portable

"DA BOMB IN CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!!!!!!"
Pros: the only reason people say its slow is because they are running it off a usb drive, try running the fastest program u know of a usb drive, it will seem slow, firefox is the best, and being able to use it wherever ROCKS!!! at my school i like to keep all my add ons and skins, with normal firefox on my drive on the server it doesnt keep any of my themes and addons. THIS ROCKS

"FireFox for your portable USB flash drive"
Pros: Its free.
It requires no installation.
Its FireFox.
Cons: Again, doesn't support ActiveX or the ability to use Windows Updates.

Pros: This is a pretty nifty program to use on computers that don't have FF and you can't install it.
Cons: Wooow, it's slow. I took it off my flashdrive because it took up too much space and was slooooow.
