Pocket Palate is an outstanding and easy-to-use application for tracking wines, wine tastings and winery information. The wine database lets you store notes on the name, winery, wine type, taste rating, cost and more. The tasting area offers multiple pull-down menus that let you quickly record initial feelings on clarity, aroma, tannin, bouquet, body, appeal and other characteristics. Each wine is automatically rated on a 100-point scale, according to your responses. If you disagree with the automatic wine score, you can always adjust it manually.
