"Easy to use. Charts and graphs plot your progress."
Version: Pocket Diet Tracker 3.0
Summary
I downloaded and tested most of the diet tracking software demos available from CNET on my Dell Axim Pocket PC. In my opinion, Pocket Diet Tracker is the best.
As an engineer, charts and graphs are important to help visualize your progress. Pocket Diet Tracker has a chart to show your body mass index, it plots your weight loss over time, and has a graph that allows you to plot any two parameters (i.e. cholesterol vs weight) over time. The information is presented in your choice of either a line (point-to-point), smooth (average), or bar chart. It will generate reports of your day, weekly, and monthly average intake and expenditure.
I bought the registered version at the end of the two week trial period. It installed over the demo version without any problems. All the data I had previously entered remained intact.
Overall, there are too many good features to describe here. Try the demo.
