From Tommaso Beniero :Plain Text To Link is a Firefox extension that allows to highlight plain text in a HTML page and handles it with a right click. Functions: Open it if it's a link in window or tab or bookmark it. Search a text it in Google Groups or translate it from English. Send an email if it's an email address. Send selected text to a file for later viewing or add it to a previously created PTTL file. In this way you can archive important text collected in Internet without everytime save a Web page.
You can specify a default open action and a default save directory in the PTTL options menu and use the Open with PTTL and save with PTTL functions in a more convenient way. You can select the default save file format (.txt, .doc, .nfo) and, through the keyboard shortcuts, open link, and save files it's quicker.
