Publisher's description of PixName Lite
From Raanan Barzel:PixName Lite is derived from PixName, which was designed to help users replace the filenames produced by digital cameras with filenames which are meaningful to the users. PixName can sort pictures by picture date and maintain the chronological order in a folder containing pictures taken by different cameras on the same occasion. Unlike captions, filenames are available to any Windows application.
They are visible in any file management application and can be used to index pictures for immediate retrieval through a general-purpose indexing application. Management of pictures and selection for email become much easier; email recipients know immediately the subject of attached pictures renamed with PixName.

Cannot handle multiple file extensions in a simple operation.Summary: Did the job it needed to do and certainly I saw no issues as such, just a few areas that require tweaking to improve functionality.
Not sure if the program will warn before overwriting existing files which already have the name you are gi... read more >> - See 1 user review Write review
