    Version: Picture Resizer Personal 3.0.8

"Not "free with no limitations" as categorized"

by koolbrew on November 3, 2007

Pros: It's easy to use, steps you through the process!

Cons: As soon as you execute the program, it shows you all the options you DON"T have unless you buy the Professional version, and there are quite a few of them. For testing purposes, I tried to resize a group of large images to 600x100 pixels, and specifically did NOT choose "by aspect ratio" and it changed all of them to 100x75 pixel images. No matter what, it does not let you ignore the aspect ratio. Also after the resize, my firewall told me it was trying to access the Internet. There are too many good, free programs out there that do the job much better with no limitations.
