Ease of use is Photolightning's priority, and the program makes good on the promise. The interface guides you step-by-step through the most common photo-editing and organizing tasks. Start with minor modifications, such as rotation, red-eye removal, zooming, and cropping, then allows you to print the results or share them via e-mail. Photolightning can help you create photo albums, flip albums, and slide shows. The slide shows can be viewed without any special software in your Web browser. The program's somewhat-restrictive, wizard-style approach may not appeal to everyone, but its functionality makes it a worthwhile download for beginners.Publisher's description

Following three easy steps, you can process a typical set of 24 photos in five minutes or less. Make photo e-mails small and easy to read by eliminating attachments. The program detects your camera and downloads your photos. It has a lightning-fast thumbnail browser; offers red-eye reduction, cropping, and autolevels/autocontrast; fix backlighting; add flash; fixes out-of-focus photos; crops; sharpens; and color boost. It has batch-processing functions, CD/DVD burning, print preview, album-page prints, and posting to Weblogs; creates HTML slide shows for e-mailing/posting to Web sites; and has complete album/organize features. V3.6 adds many new photo editing features (reduce flash, brightness/contrast, hue, saturation, unsharp mark, reduce noise). Version 3.6 may have unspecified features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
