Version: Photobie 4.4
Pros: This software is extremely resource friendly. I like the brush feature the most. It has a very friendly user interface. It is has all the tools for me to edit my photos, to add embellishment.
One more thing: It supports Photo Templates, and there are lots of nice free photo templates on it's website.
Cons: It becomes my favorite photo editor.

Version: Photobie 4.4
Pros: You can load PNG files with transparency, and whip-up a new semi-transparent image in an hour, without ever having worked in Photoshop before - other editors I had could not even show those images correctly!
Cons: I install it as administrator, but work from Poser User account (hate viruses, etc.). This editor starts with some .NET bug reported (just ignore it - tells you the program cannot write to Program Files sub-directory), and it works, but... to load texture files, etc., I have to switch to Admin account. It's annoying. But works OK.

Version: Photobie 4.4
"Better, but annoyingly faulty"
Pros: -Definately alot more organised than the previous edition
-More effects, esp the ICE look effect ( I liked it the most )
-LAYER ERASER tool!! extremely handy
-photoshop plugin option (haven't tried that yet)
-more shape and text fill options, you can even add your own textures
Cons: - EXTEREMELY ANNOYING:
Reason::
a. freezes and shuts down at very simple tasks like zooming a low-quality image.
b. the most annoying thing is that it -for multiple times- shut itself down completely without even a warning. There is no back up so make sure you save what you're working on every short while.
c. has no layer deletion in some cases ( but the layer eraser tool kindof compensates for that )

"Lots of Features! Takes some time to figure out how to use it"
Pros: The numerous features are amazing especially for being a free program. Really like the ability to hover over a tool and get the description. The added animation feature is also outstanding.
Cons: Help can be difficult to use especially if you are new to graphics programs.
