    "Brilliant !"

    by d.narov on July 22, 2007

Pros: I find this 'all in one' image editing program is just what I needed.

I don't know how the designer got so many options and features packed into a program that's only 3.54MB, and free !

I can edit my pictures with all the 'paint' options I want including layers, masks, Photoshop filters...etc...etc and if I want a screen shot or color from anywhere it has those options too. I like making animated GIFs also, so after I have my layers made I simply go to the top menu and open up the animation controls.

With the latest version I can start saving and sending my work to show in PDF format with each layer being saved as a different page in the document. That will be great to send off to perspective clients.

There's too much to list, so thanks Photobie & keep up the good work.

PS: There's absolutely NO malware of any kind.

Cons: Cons: A couple of Photoshop plugins didn't work, but I hear that's being worked on. Besides, I have way more than I need that do work now so that's no big deal.

"Really Good & Handy Graphics Tool"

by Eric Gondwe on July 30, 2007

Pros: Photobie is a good image editor with so many features. Plus its able to load & paly flash files, quite handy for web designers to do so much with one software.

Cons: Hope the gif animation feature is worth tune up to do more than it currently is able to. This was one area that'd be worth improving. The cons aside the software is second to none. Good JOB.

"Layers too cumbersome to use for me."

by Tom Gulick on July 23, 2007

Pros: I haven't had a lot of time to use this since I downloaded, however, I like several features (split screen, filters, and the many creative tools). I will try to use it more in the coming weeks--maybe I'll get better at it?

Cons: Layers--didn't like them in PS, or other products. Particularly frustrating is trying to undo a previous action--keeps telling me I didn't save it yet and then I have to try to find the layer, delete it, and hope I got it right. I tried to "blur" a portion of a photo and I had nine layers (one for each try) which I found confusing to delete.
