"Fast, Easy, Walks you thru itself"
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.2.6.13068
Pros
It was able to recover data/images off a "corrupted" SD card that would not read via computer or camera. We thought they were gone for good.
Cons
It's kind of rude that you can't even get one FULL use out of it without spending money on the registration key.
Summary
The product is definitely worth aquiring.

"Must-have utility for digital photographers."
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.2.3.12918
Pros
It works. It is simple, fast and does what it claims -- search a digital card and retrieve photos that have been deleted.
Cons
No cons that I know of. Only used it once, and it worked perfectly for me.
Summary
You need this utility if you are a digital photographer. And we all are, these days, I suppose. Even if you don't shoot hundreds of photos, as I do, chances are that eventually you will delete photos inadvertently or accidentally from a card, and when that time comes, RescuePhoto will be your friend.
Because I shoot so many images, I have a system for downloading, with checks to insure none gets missed. But it happened. I'm located in San Diego, California, and we recently had a very rare snow storm pass through. By the end of the day, using two cameras, I had shot 600 images, but when I started working with them, I could find only 500. I have no idea how, but a hundred (109, actually) had failed to transfer. And, of course, I had erased the cards.
Horrors... I had worked very hard in cold, miserable conditions, and not only were my masterpieces gone, but photos of my wife riding her horse across snowy mountainsides -- likely a once-in-a-lifetime event -- were missing, also. Only if you are married, can you estimate the severity of the need to retrieve them.
I downloaded PhotoRescue Wizard and it worked flawlessly, perfectly, wonderfully. It may not have saved my marriage, but it undoubtedly has made my life more pleasant.
And it was so simple to use. I launched it and plugged in my Nikon. It saw the card, found the images (384 out of 384), showed me thumbnails, and asked if I wanted to retrieve them. When I said, "Yes!" it charged me $29 (which I was very happy to pay), and downloaded all but one of them.
I will be keeping my copy of PhotoRescue Wizard on my Macs. Believe me, it is very comforting to know it is there
I presume that other software will do what RescuePhoto Wizard does, but it is difficult to see how it could do it any better. Thank you, DataRescue people. I mean it. And my wife thanks you, too. -
"Recovered 476 pictures out of 480!"
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.2.0.12789
Pros
I was so excited to find this software! I couldn't believe what it did! almost all of my pictures were saved!
Cons
It took a lot of time, but really that wasn't so bad.
Summary
We had just gotten back from a trip and I went to download all of our pictures. There was nothing there. I just felt sick. After doing some research I came across this software. And low and behold it worked!!!!! I am so happy!!!!!

"PhotoRescue was quick and efficient"
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.2.0.12789
Pros
My SD card had an error and was deemed corrupt. PhotoRescue helped me rescue 70 pictures and videos.
Cons
There was still some things missing.
Summary
My camera card said Card Error and after a useless trip to Best Buy, where I was told my card was corrupt and all my pictures were gone, I did a google search and discovered PhotoRescue. I had probably about 1000 pictures and/or videos on here and PhotoRescue got 790 pics/video back.
Correction to my Pros: I typed 70 but i meant to type 790 pictures and videos.

"Amazing! Quick and easy."
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.2.0.12789
Pros
Its fast, I have 2800 photos and it took less than ten minutes.
Cons
It is a little confusing to navigate at first, but eventually you get it.
Summary
I like it because it didn't take a long time and got me back my photos. I also didn't have to download a million things in order to get the program running.

"Recovered 60% as many files as other software."
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.2.0.12789
Pros
Easy to use; reasonably priced.
Cons
My camera is a 12 MP camera and the files recovered by other software, like RescuePro, were in the 11MB-13MB range whereas PhotoRescue yielded files in the 40KB-600KB range - and not too many at that.
Summary
I cannot be definitive in my comments on PhotoRescue. In any case my advice is to use more than one software and see what you get.

"Amazing program. Recovers all lost photos. 5 Stars."
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.2.0.12769
Pros
Excellent interface. Super easy to use. Faster than other recovery programs I've used.
Cons
I wish it was clear that you have to purchase in order to save the recovered photos. But its totally worth it to purchase.
Summary
Only takes a couple clicks to recover all of your photos that you accidentally deleted. Huge life saver.

"Found all my lost photos in a matter on minutes!"
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.1.15.12366
Pros
PhotoRescue save over 200 of my photos, including those of my girlfriend's graduation from college and my parents wedding anniversary. I was freaking out when I lost all of those photos, but this software was able to get them back.
Cons
The only negative thing I can say is that it managed to pull some weirdly formatted movies that I couldn't play and slowed my computer down while learning that I couldn't play them.
Summary
The software was super easy to download and use and gave me no problems. It found all of my lost photos and I was able to recover all of those memories. I can't say much more than how easy it was to use and how quickly it found all of the photos. It pulled them right off of my memory card in my camera and I was able to copy them onto my computer.

"The solution to unreadable photo flash cards."
Version: PhotoRescue Expert 3.1.14.12271
Pros
It renders ?unreadable? flash cards readable and enables one to retrieve that precious data.
Cons
It cannot retrieve complete data (such as of a photo) if the camera corrupted the data whilst being stored. You cannot retrieve data that isn't there in the first place, so it may only be able to restore a portion of that pic. You must be fair.
Summary
At my daughter's engagement party, I used my then new upmarket digital camera and shot off 200-300 high res. pics. I got home only to find the computer couldn't read the flash card, when there had been no problem before with previous batches of hundreds of pics. All known tricks I'd learned to view such attachments didn't work on flash cards. Panic!! I remembered that in earlier days of ordinary computing, seemingly lost or invisible data could be found on hard drive or floppy disks with appropriate rescue software. So, I trawled the Net and sure enough up popped Photorescue Wizard for flash cards. I downloaded it and lo & behold, there were all the pics but one, which was just the top half of the frame with the peoples' faces. So I pressed the ?Save? button, and up came the window to pay first. I loved that touch and was never happier to pay for anything upfront. The cost was very modest, I might add. So, this is the way to go for all of you who take digital photos which are stored on flash cards. It is a must as it will happen for one electronic reason or another in your lifetime.
