If you're looking for free information about your credit report, this is NOT the download to rely upon.
To put it plainly, this Personal Credit Report investigator doesn't load anything useful. Instead, a sparse toolbar opens at the top of a browser window and a variety of pop-up ads begin to open. Offers to sell supplies for people with diabetes, to quote rates for life insurance and similar spiels abound. Since most people relegate this type of stuff to their spam folders when it comes as e-mail, there's absolutely no reason to add the ability to get it directly through your browser.
Our recommendation: Stay away from this download unless you're a fan of online advertising.
