From ActiveState :Perl for Win32 is a port of most of the functionality in Perl, with some extra Win32 API calls thrown in so that you can take advantage of native Windows functionality. Perl for Win32 runs on Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.5 and later. (Note: Versions of Windows NT older than 4.0 are not tested with new builds.) This latest version includes numerous bug fixes and minor feature enhancements.
