Version: PdaNet for Windows Mobile 1.71
Pros: Excellent product, easy to install and delivers what it promises.
I was paying for an unlimited data plan for this very reason but nobody from customer support at Cingular, ATT and Palm could help me get this working during the 6 month period that I was being overcharged for this data service. They were not even aware of this product or were afraid of competition and hence did not advise its use to get over this hurdle.
Luckily I have discovered it via my Google research and it seems to be the right product for this device.
Cons: A longer evaluation period (like 30 days) would have been beneficial to review the product at leisure.

"For the money not a bad investment"
Pros: I purchased this software as a back-up to not being able to connect to WiFi when on the road. I have a Palm Treo 700W with Verizon and a Dell XPS M1330. Prior to this I have tried Verizon Wireless' Broadband connect service at $15.00 a month. The speed is much slower that the Broadband connect where I could get 1 to 1.5 Meg. Using this software via bluetooth I run about 290 kbps and via USB cable about 512 to 600 kbps. Overall not a bad product paying $34 for license fee and having as a back-up.
Cons: Slow connection speed especially over Blue Tooth and also does seem to have a habit of disconnecting from time to time. But overall worth the invesment.
