This application performs cut-and-paste operations and stores up to 10 entries in the text-only format. PasteAway Platinum's microscopic interface provides access to a quick start guide and resides in the system tray. Instead of using standard commands to copy and paste, you'll use a shortcut combination that includes numbers from 0 to 9 to indicate which of the 10 available templates to save your text to. For example, the command is CTRL SHIFT 1 to copy to the first template and CTRL ALT 1 to paste the text from this template into another application. Copied texts are automatically stored in a template unless overwritten. Right-clicking the program's icon lets you open any of the 10 templates and edit the text. As mentioned, your entries will be saved as text only, so any formatting will be lost. PasteAway Platinum is easy enough for anyone to use, and is a nice enhancement to the standard Clipboard.
