Though tagged as a password detector, this program is really just a watered-down, unimpressive keylogger. PasswordDetecter s interface is dull, but since the program only does one thing, it's simple to use. Clicking Track Keystrokes will start your logging session, while you view the typed keystrokes via the Options menu. Though the utility works in stealth mode and can be protected by a password, you can easily uninstall it via the Start menu--without the password. Unlike more advanced monitoring programs, this one doesn't take screenshots or log details of other computer activies. And to top it all off, the demo only will record a measly 10 keystrokes, one of the more ridiculous trial restrictions we've seen on this type of application. Anyone looking for a keylogging utility is likely to find this one a disappointment.
