This is an exceptionally flexible utility for quickly generating, saving, and inserting passwords in Web forms. Password Manager XP can be installed on a disk or a Flash card to run on any PC. You access its functions via the right-click context menu. A built-in password generator creates combinations resistant to dictionary and brute-force attacks. The program also can capture information you type into Web forms and fill the forms out on subsequent visits; however, the process is less intuitive than it should be and may confuse less tech-savvy users. Password Manager XP can store passwords for several people and remind them to generate new ones at predetermined intervals. For users who have made the jump to biometrics, the latest version of Password Manager XP even supports Microsoft Fingerprint Reader (we did not test this feature). All in all, it's a solid choice for storing login information at home or at work.Publisher's description
From CP Lab :Password Manager XP helps you systematize secret information and allows you to store information in several databases. Each database has an access password and is encrypted with various algorithms at the same time (Blowfish, 3DES, Rijndael, TEA, Cast128, RC4, Serpent, and Twofish). Database fields can be fully customized. The program is designed for workgroup use, giving several users access to the password databases. Access rights and privileges can be regulated.
The removable-device wizard will help you install Password Manager XP in removable devices, such as USB Flash drives. The program can autofill Web pages, registration forms, and logon windows. This feature is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer and a majority of usual applications. Password Manager XP has a built-in password generator and comes with backup, restore, and print options, and it informs you of expired passwords. Version 2.3 build 440 improves feature: removing form association with a record.
