Publisher's description of Password Agent Lite 2.0

Password Agent Lite is a password manager that allows you to store all your passwords, secret notes, and data snippets in a single, easy-to-navigate, and secure database. It keeps strangers away from your private information.

The program features a familiar interface similar to Windows Explorer; encrypted password-database files accessible only via a user-selectable master password; custom groups and subgroups for easier access; note entries that do not have fields for a user ID and a password; a password generator; a QuickSearch function that allows you to easily filter and display entries across all groups; the ability to import entries from other password-database programs in CSV format; U.S. government-approved Rijndael encryption (256-bit key); and an enhanced Windows XP user interface. Also, all text fields allow virtually unlimited length, so you can store long memos.

  Pros: It is easy to use and readily accessable

  Cons: One does not need the groupings when using the lite version.

  "good simple way to keep pswrds organized"

  Summary: if you have fewer than 25 passwords and need a simple way to keep track of them all, this is a good program, my only complaint is that for novice users the interface is not that "friendly" and for advanced users the free version may not allow enough... read more >>

  "My one stop id and password safe"

  Summary: The ease of use and security is great, doing away with the worry of someone getting on and using windows to login on my mail, bank and other accounts is very comforting.
