Musical curiosity is no dangerous thing with Pandora's iPhone app for music discovery, except that you'll soon be hooked. Take the Web radio engine's original concept of suggesting music by comparing the rhythms of a song you might like with one you already do and add to it a sleek interface, ratings icons, and quick links to bookmark the song or artist, or buy the track from iTunes. Add an explanation of why the bots picked your song to the ability to view the song progress, create a new station from a song or artist, and send the song to a friend. Then kick back and enjoy the very decent streaming audio quality, full-screen album art that round out the flawless program.

From Pandora Media :Note: The "Download Now" link directs you to the iTunes App Store, where you must continue the download process. You must have iTunes installed in order to open the link, and you must have an active iTunes account in order to install the application.
Pandora Radio is your own free personalized radio available to stream music on your iPhone. Just start with the name of one of your favorite artists, songs, or classical composers, and Pandora will create a "station" that plays their music and more music like it.
Already a Pandora users? Just log in. Pandora on the iPhone is fully integrated with Pandora on the Web. Enjoy all of your existing stations, and create new ones right from your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Version: Pandora Radio
Pros: My tastes in music range from classical to country, and I am able to set up stations that reflect my many tastes. I have been using Pandora for several months, and it has learned what I like, and that's what it plays. The "quickmix" repertoire may go from Beethoven to barbershop to bluegrass, so I get a pleasing variety without having to change stations. I have XM Radio in my car, but I'm looking forward to getting my new IPhone so I can listen to ALL the music I love without touching the dial.
By the way, it occasionally plays "similar" music I don't like, but if I give it a "thumbs down", it will exclude it from future playlists.
