Painter's Picker is an extension to the color picker panel in Mac OS X. It adds the ability to choose related colors, such as complementary colors, analogous colors, etc. directly within the color picker. It also adds more precise controls for choosing saturation, hue angle, and brightness, and provides the ability to choose colors in the CMYK color space while using the popular HSB-style controls. Painter's Picker has been designed to be the simplest way to perform complex color selection within nearly any application in Mac OS X.
What's new in this version: Version 1.1 makes several changes, both in terms of functionality and interface. They all fit into roughly 4 ccategories, User Interface tweaks, bug fixes, a new color info menu, and some new support for web deigners with html-style color strings and web safe color navigation.
Info Menu
- Added a color info menu. Control-click (or right click) on a color in the color well to bring up a menu that shows both information about that color and also other colors related to that color.
