PageComposer is designed to bridge the gap between proprietary prepress system and the desktop publishing world. This application allows you to convert TIFF/IT, TIFF/IT 8.8 and Scitex CT/LW files (amongst others) into PostScript, PDF, PDF/X, EPS, DCS, DCS2, TIFF etc.It also allows you to RIP PostScript or PDF files directly into TIFF/IT-P1, TIFF/IT 8.8 and Scitex CT LW on any PowerMacintosh.

What's new in this version:

  • Added support for TIFF/IT 8.8 output
    TIFF/IT 8.8 output allows users to create TIFF/IT files with spot colors
  • Added support for Spot Colors in PDF and PostScript input
    This new function will allow the user to maintain the integrity of spot colors when RIPping PDF or PostScript files into TIFF/IT 8.8, DCS2, PostScript or PDF
  • Added support for Spot Colors in PDF output
