Packmage CAD is a free packaging design software mainly used for corrugated and folding carton box, paper bags, cards design. It has a rich box template library which being continually updated according to user requirements. It also offers the box template folding, unfolding, half-folding status and descriptions of the box which could help the user know the box comprehensively. It has 3 modules, parametric design, 3D, step, and repeat module. Once user selected the right box template in the library, they can modify the parameters value such as length, width, depth, caliper to get the box structural design done in seconds, then user can check the blank simple of the box immediately.
After the box structural design down, user can import the graphic design draft to match with the structural design in Packmage CAD, user can texture each part or full parts of the box according to client need. Once the texture is done, user can check the color sample of the box in 3D module, during the rotating and folding processing, user see all corners and other details from inside to outside, and the design can be screenshot to send to clients. Step and repeat module offers optimized box templates step and repeat solutions to help user save paper cost during production. It offers useful information such as length of die line, folding line, paper area, paper utilization. Unlike other packaging design software, Packmage CAD has changed packaging design process greatly, it is much more easy and cost effective.
